You asked… we listened!

Our online triage system is changing!

Since 2023 all practices have been required to offer patients an assessment of need on their first contact when requesting an appointment with a GP or an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. However, we have heard from you, our patients, that you have had problems with accessing Anima and have had problems with being informed of your appointment in time for you to attend the surgery.

 

Introducing SystmConnect…

From 31st March we will be changing our online triage and consultation system to SystmConnect.

 

How will this help?

You will no longer need another set of log in details exclusively for online consultations and triage… You can now either access the form from our website using either your NHS log in details (from our NHS app) or using your SystmOnline (previous online services) log in details. Or alternatively if you don’t have access to either of these, you can complete a request WITHOUT ANY LOG IN DETAILS AT ALL. You will just need to enter your personal information within the questionnaire, and this can then be matched to our records.

 

What support is available?

We are aiming to have instructional videos available on both our website and our Facebook page. We will then be running drop-in sessions for patients to come in to reset their passwords if they would like to use these to make access easier. We will also run demonstrations during these times for patients to see how the new system works in advance.

Drop-in sessions will be available during the following dates and times:

  • Monday 17th March from 2-3pm
  • Tuesday 18th March from 8-9am
  • Thursday 20th March from 4:30-5:30pm
  • Friday 21st March from 4:30-5:30pm
  • Tuesday 25th March from 8-9am
  • Thursday 27th March from 4:30-5:30

 

What if I can’t go online?

Nothing will change for those patients who are unable to access online consultations and triage… we will still have our friendly Patient Service Care Coordinators available on the telephones for anyone who is unable to access the internet or who cannot complete this online.

 

So, what do I do now?

You don’t have to do anything… but if you would like to be able to log in to access the triage process with all of your details pre-filled for you, please feel free to come in to the surgery at any time to have your password created/reset if needed. Please just remember to bring some form of ID with you.

Then all you will need to do is any time you need an appointment you can follow the link on our website (or log in to online services) and complete the questionnaire using your symptoms.
